Forge 42: Endurance challenge - SATURDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER AT 10:30

Forge 42: Endurance, Teamwork & A Whole Lot of Sweat

On Saturday 13th September 2025, Society Members Club is throwing down the gauntlet with Forge 42 – a marathon reimagined through functional fitness. Forget hours of lonely pavement pounding — this is about testing yourself with your team by your side.

Here’s the deal: teams of 2 or 3 will take on 42,000 metres of work split across the rower, bike, and road. The twist?

  • On the rower and bike, only one person works at a time.

  • But every single run is done together.

  • Strategy, pacing, grit, and above all, teamwork are the only way through.

The challenge looks like this:

  • 5 Rounds (3,500m row + 3,500m bike + 1,000m run) = 40,000m

  • Finale: a 2,000m team sprint run

  • Grand total: 42,000m of effort, sweat, and support

Yes, there are prizes for winners. But there are also surprises for everyone who takes part — because Forge 42 isn’t just about the finish line. It’s about showing up, working hard, and pushing further than you thought possible, all with your teammates beside you.

Even better, it’s all for a good cause. This event supports Jamie’s Berlin Marathon run for the Special Olympics, and your £15 entry fee goes 100% to charity.

So grab your teammates, mark the date, and get ready for something shorter, sharper, and way more exciting than your average marathon.

🔥 Row. Bike. Run. Repeat.

Are you ready to take on Forge 42?
